Intern - Product Design

HARMAN is seeking a Product Design Intern to join their Software Experiences Business Unit. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to work as an embedded member of a product team, conducting user and competitive research to understand a younger audience's needs and habits. You will contribute to high-tech product development for esteemed audio brands and present your findings directly to decision-makers.

• Conduct user and competitive research for music discovery and streaming platforms
• Analyze competitors and adjacent products to identify feature gaps and trends
• Recruit and interview users aged 16-25 to understand their music habits
• Support usability and concept testing on new features and prototypes
• Investigate audience response to curation and algorithmic recommendation
• Summarize findings and present recommendations to product teams
