Product Support Engineer

Generac is seeking a Product Support Engineer to provide technical support for existing product designs. This role involves root cause analysis, problem resolution, cost reduction, and lifecycle product support, working cross-functionally with service, operations, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure rapid response and effective engineering solutions for escalated issues.

• Provide daily technical support to operations and resolve shop-floor defects
• Partner with plant leadership to meet SQDRC targets
• Manage material lifecycle and support sustaining engineering efforts
• Collaborate with Product Management, NPD, Compliance, and Supply Chain
• Drive permanent corrective actions and improve field performance
• Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and BOM accuracy
