Product Designer

nVent is seeking a Product Designer to develop and modify electrical solutions by reviewing customer requirements, creating 2D and 3D designs, and ensuring manufacturability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage bills of materials, and prepare drawing packages for customers and production.

• Develop product builds based on customer requirements, drawings, and specifications
• Build and modify 2D and 3D designs ensuring accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability
• Apply knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and manufacturing methods
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams for production readiness
• Prepare and submit preliminary and approval drawing packages to customers
• Support manufacturing with fabrication drawings and design-related questions
