Senior Product Designer, Craft & Systems

tastytrade is seeking a Senior Product Designer to build foundational elements for its trading platform, including token architecture, component systems, and craft standards. This role involves driving design execution across web, desktop, and mobile, setting high craft standards, and partnering with engineering to ensure implementation quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product design, particularly within regulated financial environments, and a strong track record of building scalable design systems.

• Own design execution across core platform (web, desktop, mobile)
• Set and hold high craft standards for the team
• Build and maintain design system foundations (tokens, components, guidelines)
• Partner with engineering on implementation quality
• Establish shared navigational conventions and design standards
• Mentor other designers on craft, systems thinking, and technical execution
