Workplace Design Lead

SOM is seeking a strategic Workplace Interior Design Lead to guide projects from concept through construction. This role involves translating client needs and research into high-performing, adaptable interior environments, incorporating evolving work models and wellness principles. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth of SOM's workplace interiors practice.

• Lead workplace interior design projects from pursuit to construction administration
• Translate client goals and workplace strategies into compelling design narratives
• Lead workplace planning, test fits, and conceptual design development
• Integrate architectural, engineering, branding, and technology criteria
• Mentor and coordinate project teams with limited oversight
• Build and maintain strong client and consultant relationships
