Principal, User Research

Mural is seeking a Principal User Researcher to establish and lead their UX research practice. This role will conduct foundational and strategic research to inform product direction and long-term innovation. You will partner across departments to uncover user needs and guide the company's future experiences, while also mentoring others and scaling research methodologies.

• Lead mixed-methods research exploring user needs and behaviors
• Drive foundational studies on collaboration barriers in hybrid and distributed work
• Design and execute large-scale qualitative and quantitative studies
• Develop actionable insights to shape key product decisions
• Build artifacts like archetypes and journey maps to communicate insights
• Mentor designers and product partners in research best practices
