Product Designer, Youth

OpenAI is seeking a staff-level Product Designer to shape how young people safely engage with AI and define the company's emerging education experiences. You will lead end-to-end design for products focused on safety, age assurance, and new learning tools for K-12 environments. This role requires exceptional craft, product thinking, and the ability to turn complex challenges into clear, trustworthy, and engaging user experiences.

• Establish high standards for craft in youth and education experiences
• Lead end-to-end design for products enabling safe and productive AI use by young people
• Design age-appropriate experiences for safety and high-trust interactions
• Shape zero-to-one K-12 experiences for schools, educators, and classrooms
• Translate emerging ideas into compelling product concepts and prototypes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to balance user needs, technical capabilities, and responsible deployment
