Lead Designer, UX

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Lead UX Designer to set the design direction for a product area within their Implantable Heart Failure Management organization. This role involves leading design systems, usability engineering, and human factors engineering for software as a medical device, influencing product strategy, and mentoring designers.

• Set design direction for a significant product area and ensure design quality
• Lead design systems work, owning components, patterns, and accessibility standards
• Lead usability engineering activities and use-error analysis for regulatory submissions
• Act as a Human Factors Engineering contributor for Software as a Medical Device
• Influence product strategy and mentor designers across levels
• Requires Bachelor's degree and 8 years of design experience, proficiency in Figma, and usability testing experience
