UX Research IC4

Etsy is seeking a Staff UX Researcher to define and improve the quality of user experiences across their global marketplace. You will lead research initiatives to assess and enhance buyer and seller experiences, establishing research systems and benchmarks to identify usability gaps and measure modernization efforts. This role involves close collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, and Analytics teams to translate findings into actionable recommendations and influence product roadmaps.

• Define and lead research strategy for UX quality and modernization
• Build and manage repeatable benchmarking programs for core buyer and seller flows
• Establish success measures for usability, efficiency, and customer perception
• Conduct mixed-methods research to identify and prioritize experience gaps
• Translate complex evidence into clear recommendations for product roadmaps
• Partner with and mentor other researchers across the organization
