Creative Design Group - Industrial Design

General Motors Design is seeking a Creative Designer to join their Color, Materials, and Finish (CMF) group in Warren, Michigan. This role involves researching trends, developing CMF strategies, and creating innovative, sustainable material solutions for future mobility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring concepts from inception through implementation, making a visible impact on GM's programs and brands.

• Lead CMF strategy, concept development, and execution for texture, color, materials, and soft-trim
• Research global design trends, color theory, materials technology, and future customer needs
• Develop cohesive CMF proposals with strong command of proportion and composition
• Champion innovative, sustainable, and responsible materials, coatings, and finishes
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners
• Prepare design documentation, presentations, and prototypes
