Senior User Experience Visual Designer

Consumer Reports is seeking a Senior Data Visualization Designer to create compelling visual stories from complex data. You will translate product testing results, safety investigations, and consumer reporting into accessible charts, graphics, and interactive experiences. This role collaborates with journalists and researchers to make CR's content engaging and insightful.

• Create visual designs such as charts, graphs, and interactives for digital products
• Partner with the content team to understand upcoming stories and develop design approaches
• Collaborate with UX researchers to gather insights and integrate findings into design decisions
• Explore visual ways of telling stories using a variety of techniques
• Design data visualizations and information graphics with high-fidelity visual designs
• Prototype and develop interactives in HTML, CSS, and JS
