UX Researcher (Growth)

Tailscale is seeking a UX Researcher focused on growth to join their fully distributed team. You will conduct various research studies, including usability testing and surveys, to support the Product Growth team's experiment pipeline and optimize onboarding, acquisition, and activation funnels. This role involves analyzing behavioral data, identifying user needs, and collaborating closely with product managers and designers to translate insights into actionable product improvements.

• Conduct growth research studies, owning the full lifecycle from scoping to communication
• Design and execute behavioral research, including usability tests and surveys
• Analyze quantitative data and behavioral logs to inform research and validate hypotheses
• Partner with Growth PM and Designers to test designs and identify adoption friction
• Develop expertise in user acquisition, trial, and adoption of Tailscale
• Communicate research findings effectively to product and engineering teams
