About this role

Spring Health is seeking a Staff Product Designer specializing in AI Interaction Design to create empathetic and clinically valid AI experiences for users. You will focus on designing conversational AI agents, writing and optimizing prompts, and collaborating with clinical and engineering teams to execute the AI product roadmap. This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of LLMs and a passion for improving mental healthcare through technology.

What we are looking for

Design human-AI interaction experience for user-facing AI agents
Own intent architecture, including taxonomy, routing, and gap analysis
Write, test, and optimize system prompts and UX copy
Partner with clinical and product teams on clinically valid AI interactions
Define conversational parameters and error handling for AI agents
Present AI performance insights and product vision to leadership
