Senior Staff Visual Designer, Design Lab

Datadog is seeking a Senior Staff Visual Designer to join their Design Lab team and define the future visual language of their product. This role involves evolving the design system to support new AI-driven experiences and complex product surfaces, establishing visual quality standards, and translating innovative ideas into scalable patterns.

• Define and evolve Datadog’s visual language across product surfaces
• Establish the visual quality bar for the platform
• Lead exploratory and concept work to advance the design system
• Translate visual ideas into scalable patterns for a design system
• Partner with Brand, Product Design, and Design Systems
• Influence executive stakeholders through visual storytelling
