Senior Product Designer, Care (Temporary)

The New York Times is seeking a Senior Product Designer for a temporary, 6-month hybrid role in their New York City office. This position focuses on designing end-to-end conversational experiences for AI-assisted customer care, improving how subscribers get help and resolve issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy and iterate on AI agent flows.

• Design end-to-end conversational experiences for AI agents and support tools
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to shape product strategy
• Create user journeys, blueprints, and wireframes for AI and human agent collaboration
• Lead discovery and future-state exploration for AI agents in the Care domain
• Utilize analytics and feedback to iterate on conversational flows
• Partner with teams to deliver consistent flows across chat, phone, and other channels
