Product Designer- Design systems

Candescent is seeking a Product Designer to join our Forge Design System team. You will be responsible for building, governing, and evolving our shared UI components and design tokens that power our financial institution clients. This role focuses on treating the design system as a product, requiring both creation of new components and stewardship of existing ones to ensure consistency, accessibility, and quality across platforms.

• Design, document, and maintain Figma component libraries
• Own design of net-new components and interaction patterns
• Define and document pattern usage guidance
• Manage design tokens and support theme extensibility
• Validate component behavior across breakpoints and device contexts
• Review and triage design contributions from product teams
