Industrial Product Designer

Ubiquiti is seeking an Industrial Product Designer to join the UniFi Protect team, focusing on security cameras and connected hardware. You will own the end-to-end physical user experience, from initial concept to mass production, ensuring products are intuitive, manufacturable, and high-quality. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate user needs and technical constraints into refined product designs.

• Design distinctive and cohesive hardware products with strong judgment in form, proportion, CMF, and detail
• Own the end-to-end physical user experience, including unboxing, installation, and daily use
• Translate product direction, user needs, and technical constraints into actionable design proposals
• Partner closely with PM, ME, EE, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve design and production challenges
• Drive design intent through prototyping, DFM reviews, and production follow-up
• 3+ years of experience developing mass-produced consumer or enterprise hardware
