Staff Motion Designer, Design Innovation

Pinterest is seeking a Staff Motion Designer to lead and evolve the company's motion design language, ensuring clarity, coherence, and delight across all surfaces. This hands-on role requires a blend of craft leadership, systems thinking, and technical aptitude to establish reusable motion principles and patterns within the design system. You will partner with product and engineering teams to solve complex interaction challenges and build tools to enable high-quality motion at scale.

• Define and evolve Pinterest's motion design language and principles
• Lead motion direction for flagship and AI-forward experiences
• Partner with product designers, engineers, and PMs to align motion strategy
• Create scalable motion systems, patterns, and documentation
