Analyst, Newsroom Data

The Wall Street Journal is seeking a Data Analyst to join their newsroom data team in New York City. You will work with senior analysts to produce reports, dashboards, and analyses that inform editorial, audience, and product decisions. This role involves extensive SQL querying, dashboard maintenance, and using AI tools to improve efficiency.

• Write SQL to answer questions from newsroom partners
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports
• Support deep-dive analyses on major news events
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and partner with data engineering
• Contribute to A/B tests and experiment analysis
