About this role
SMX is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support a government client in Huntsville, AL. This role involves managing program data, establishing data governance practices, and supporting the full data lifecycle from collection to archival. You will also perform data analysis, validate metadata, and support data readiness for business intelligence and AI/ML initiatives.
What we are looking for
6- Manage program data across MDA systems
- Establish and enforce data governance practices
- Develop Integrated Data Management Plans
- Support full data lifecycle (collection, validation, storage, dissemination, archival)
- Perform data analysis to identify gaps and inconsistencies
- Validate and maintain metadata and data records
