Sr. Paralegal - Commercial Real Estate & Mortgage Lending (Hybrid)

Securian Financial is seeking a senior paralegal to support its commercial real estate lending platform. This hybrid role involves managing complex loan transactions from underwriting through closing and post-closing servicing, coordinating with stakeholders, and drafting/negotiating legal documents with minimal attorney supervision. The position also includes training junior paralegals and leveraging technology for efficiency.

• Support end-to-end execution of commercial real estate loan originations, modifications, restructurings, and workouts
• Draft, review, and negotiate mortgage loan commitments and related legal documents
• Review outside counsel work product and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve legal issues
• Independently review leases, title, survey, and other real estate documents to identify risks
• Train and mentor junior paralegals on commercial mortgage lending transactions
• Leverage generative AI and other technology tools to improve efficiency
