Junior Data Scientist

Join Proofpoint's Machine Learning team as a Junior Data Scientist and contribute to our cutting-edge email threat detection engine. You will build and maintain essential software systems, collaborate with experienced engineers and data scientists, and gain hands-on experience with real-world products from day one.

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and internal tools
• Write clean, well-tested, and documented Python code
• Contribute to data processing utilities and automation scripts
• Debug and resolve issues in existing systems
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists on requirements
• Support service deployment and monitoring in AWS
