As a Data/Finance Analyst Intern at Applied Materials, you will support the Applied Global Services Sourcing organization by analyzing historical spend and forecast data. You will leverage your financial analysis skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to identify key variances, create insightful reports, and communicate findings to account managers. • Analyze historical spend and planning forecast data by part number, commodity, and supplier
• Perform financial analysis on cost, spend, and revenue
• Utilize MS Excel for data summarization, table creation, and charting
• Develop PowerPoint presentations with visual graphs and key takeaways
• Communicate with account managers regarding cost and spend variances
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, automated functions)
