About this role

Engelhart is seeking a Junior Quantitative Developer to join their Quantitative Research & Development team in New York City. This role supports the West Power Trading and Carbon desks by developing and maintaining quantitative tools, analytics, and models. You will work closely with traders and analysts to productionize ML-based models, enhance cloud infrastructure, and automate trading processes.

What we are looking for

Support West Power and Carbon trading desks by productionizing ML-based models
Enhance and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for quant model prototyping
Contribute to the automation of trading and operational processes
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems
Bachelor's degree in a STEM or quantitative field
2-4 years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and object-oriented programming
