Senior Research Associate (Contractor)

Freenome is seeking a Senior Research Associate to join their Genomics Assay Development team in Brisbane, California. This role focuses on developing and validating clinical-grade assay technologies for early cancer detection using multiomic and next-generation sequencing platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance NGS-based assays in a regulated, high-throughput environment.

• Develop and validate clinical-grade NGS assays for DNA analysis
• Apply molecular biology and nucleic-acid biochemistry expertise
• Plan and execute experiments to optimize assay performance
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and clinical operations teams
• Work in a regulated, high-throughput environment
• Contribute to the development of life-saving diagnostics
