Data Scientist, Developer Productivity

Anthropic is seeking a Data Scientist to define and measure developer productivity in an AI-first organization. You will own the data strategy, identify key metrics, and design experiments to understand and improve how AI impacts engineering workflows. This role requires a proactive approach to ambiguous problems and a willingness to adapt findings as the field evolves.

• Define and measure developer productivity in an AI-first organization
• Own the end-to-end data strategy for developer productivity
• Design and run experiments on internal tooling and workflow changes
• Influence engineering leadership with data-backed insights
• Build analytical foundations including pipelines, dashboards, and models
• Partner with engineering leadership to set the research agenda
