Associate Director, Data Science, Functional Genomics

Lead the functional genomics and predictive modeling function for a global biopharmaceutical company. You will own computational and modeling frameworks, apply AI/ML to accelerate discovery, and mentor a team of scientists to shape early discovery direction.

• Lead design and build of scalable computational analytics frameworks for CRISPR screens
• Invent and scale computational methods for next-generation functional genomics
• Build image analysis pipelines for high content and optical CRISPR screens
• Integrate functional genomics and imaging results with other omics datasets
• Apply AI and ML to triage targets and synthesize biological evidence
• Lead and mentor a team of scientists, set technical direction, and drive standards
