Data Scientist II - Fraud Reporting

Truist is seeking a Data Scientist II to focus on fraud reporting. This role involves performing sophisticated analytics, including statistical and machine learning modeling, to provide actionable insights that improve business outcomes and minimize risk. You will also consult with business leaders on leveraging these insights to build effective strategies. This is a fully on-site position based in Charlotte, NC.

• Perform sophisticated data analytics including machine learning and neural networks
• Produce compelling data visualizations to communicate insights
• Take ownership of end-to-end data science solution design and delivery
• Engage in stakeholder meetings to identify business objectives
• Write, document, and deploy custom code in Python, SAS, or R
• Research and advocate for emerging data science methods and technologies
