Senior Business and Data Analyst

Abacus Insights is seeking a Senior Business and Data Analyst to bridge the gap between client needs and data solutions in the healthcare industry. You will translate complex business questions into precise requirements, leverage SQL and data analysis to validate assumptions and shape designs, and ensure data quality and usability for health plans. This client-facing role requires a blend of healthcare business acumen and deep data fluency to drive impactful data initiatives.

• Write and execute SQL daily to profile source data and quantify data quality
• Analyze source data to establish availability and reliability against business needs
• Reconcile and validate outputs against source systems and client benchmarks
• Define and document business metrics and KPIs precisely
• Lead discovery sessions and translate use cases into clear, testable requirements
• Identify dependencies and apply systems thinking for reusable design patterns
