Data Scientist

Baseten is seeking a Revenue Analyst to build and maintain the data foundation for revenue and usage reporting. This role bridges Finance and Revenue Operations, focusing on creating accurate views of customer revenue by integrating contract terms, pricing, product usage, and billing data. You will develop robust data models and dashboards to ensure trusted financial reporting.

• Build and maintain dbt models and dashboards connecting Salesforce, CPQ, contracts, and usage data
• Create canonical data marts for customers, products, and contract terms
• Reconcile metered product usage to billed revenue and investigate discrepancies
• Partner with Finance and Revenue Operations to define and govern key revenue metrics
• Support monthly close, forecasting, and operating reviews with variance analysis
• Document metric logic, source ownership, and lineage with tests and version control
