About this role

AMA is seeking two part-time, remote Data Analysts to support NASA's Earth Action Program, specifically focusing on the Wildland Fires Program and FireSense Project. You will leverage Earth science data to address societal challenges in areas like health and disaster response, ensuring effective data analysis and trusted data products for wildland fire management.

What we are looking for

Evaluate scientific research and identify key science questions
Support data evaluation and analysis for program science goals
Convert NASA L0 data to L2 or L3 data products
Incorporate instrument limitations and assumptions in analysis
Proficiency with Python, GIS, and scientific software like Igor Pro
Experience with air quality data analysis and integration of ground/satellite data
