Controls Engineer

Afinitas, a Barry-Wehmiller company, is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain control system programs for their equipment and automation machinery. This role involves troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical control systems, providing remote and on-site customer support, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve product development. The position requires a 4-year engineering degree or 2-year technical degree with 2+ years of PLC experience.

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for new and existing equipment
• Troubleshoot and debug software for optimal performance
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers and service technicians
• Build and maintain a technical knowledge base with documentation
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical and logistical issues
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in system architectures
