Release of Information Specialist

Elara Caring is seeking a Release of Information Specialist to manage the intake and tracking of medical record requests. This role involves serving as the main point of contact for their ROI service provider, ensuring workflow processes are followed, and interfacing with internal departments like Compliance and Legal. The specialist will play a key part in maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information and supporting the operational needs of a leading home care organization.

• Manage intake and tracking of paper and electronic ROI requests
• Serve as primary contact for Ciox, the ROI service provider
• Ensure Elara's ROI workflow process is followed
• Interface with Compliance, HR, Legal, and field staff
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and release of information regulations
