Scientist, Microbiome Data Science & Bioinformatics

Ferring is seeking a Scientist in Microbiome Data Science & Bioinformatics to analyze large omics datasets, develop novel analytical methods, and translate findings into mechanistic and therapeutic hypotheses. This role involves leading microbiome research, managing complex omics data, and collaborating with R&D, pre-clinical, and clinical teams to drive biological discoveries.

• Lead human microbiome research, data mining, and interpretation
• Create, curate, and maintain omics datasets and databases
• Translate bioinformatic insights for R&D, pre-clinical, and clinical initiatives
• Conceptualize, build, test, and benchmark bioinformatic methods
• Utilize and improve continuous deployment, containerization, and cloud computing
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project deliverables and manage timelines
