Data Scientist II

The Office of Informatics at the University of Wisconsin Madison is seeking a Data Scientist II to support research data needs. You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, models, and visualizations, leveraging SQL, Python, and GIS tools to transform complex data into actionable insights. This role involves close collaboration with researchers and stakeholders to build scalable data solutions and enable efficient data access for research use cases.

• Design and build interactive visualizations
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and models
• Incorporate geospatial data into dashboards and workflows
• Clean, transform, and validate datasets from multiple sources
