Data Scientist II

Fortra is seeking a Data Scientist II to develop and enhance data science solutions, focusing on data processing, algorithms, and machine learning. You will contribute to both existing and new products, working within an Agile framework and collaborating with engineering and MLOps teams. This role offers the opportunity to become a domain expert in cybersecurity and gain expertise in various ML model development.

• Develop, document, test, and debug machine learning models
• Collaborate with engineering and MLOps teams
• Become a domain expert in cybersecurity applications
• Acquire technical expertise in feature-engineered, LLMs, and generative models
• Participate in full software development life-cycle and Agile ceremonies
• Assist or mentor junior data scientists
