Data Governance Analyst

Genworth is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join their IT team in Richmond, Virginia. This hybrid role involves operationalizing governance standards, managing metadata and data quality, and collaborating with business stewards to ensure data assets are well-defined and trusted. You will work within a cloud-native environment using Databricks/Unity Catalog and Acryl DataHub.

• Support data stewardship activities and define critical data elements
• Monitor and manage data quality issues and coordinate remediation efforts
• Facilitate governance workflows and maintain governance documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to champion data governance adoption
• Curate and maintain business glossary entries and metadata in Acryl DataHub
• Assist in authoring and refining data quality rules
