Staff Applied Scientist

Afresh is seeking a Staff Applied Scientist to lead R&D for their AI platform that optimizes grocery inventory. You will apply machine learning, forecasting, and optimization techniques to complex problems like perishable inventory control and demand modeling. • Lead R&D for core replenishment AI/ML models
• Model demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and decision-making policy
• Implement solutions for perishable inventory control and supply chain optimization
• Drive changes from research through production with scalable code
• Mentor scientists and engineers, and raise the technical bar
• Apply machine learning, forecasting, and operations research
