Data Analyst Intern

CAI is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support data governance, reporting, and analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs, document processes, analyze datasets, and contribute to enterprise data management efforts. This is a full-time, remote internship for the summer of 2027, requiring availability during core business hours within the United States.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document data reporting needs, policies, and definitions
• Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for improvement in data management and governance
• Derive data taxonomy to support Data Services SOP playbooks and data hierarchies
• Develop and maintain documentation including data glossaries, report summaries, and process maps
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Support testing and validation of reports to ensure they meet business needs
