Research Scientist II

Abbott is seeking a Research Scientist II in Plano, TX, to advance next-generation therapies for neurological conditions. This role focuses on translational research at the intersection of biology, neural systems, and medical devices, contributing to the discovery and development of biomarkers for adaptive neuromodulation therapies.

• Support preclinical and translational neuroscience research programs
• Design and execute molecular and cellular biology experiments
• Analyze gene, protein, and cellular pathway changes
• Contribute to discovery and validation of molecular and digital biomarkers
• Apply an AI-first approach to experimental design and data generation
