Senior Research Data Scientist

Roku is seeking a Senior Research Data Scientist to lead the development of a causal inference platform. This role will optimize user experience and business decisions by measuring the incremental impact of customer actions and product features using observational data. You will own the full lifecycle of causal measurement, from defining approaches to productionizing scalable pipelines and communicating findings to senior leadership.

• Design, build, and productionize a causal inference platform
• Research and implement causal estimation methods
• Build long-term outcome frameworks for impact projection
• Develop diagnostic and validation standards for causal estimates
• Leverage AI to create counterfactual scenarios and build tools
• Work cross-functionally with Data Engineering, Product Management, and Core Analytics
