Visa is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop and maintain AI/ML solutions for AML and Sanctions Compliance, specifically focusing on Sanctions Screening. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, modeling, and techniques like fuzzy matching and NLP to enhance our screening capabilities and ensure compliance with global regulations.

What we are looking for

Develop and enhance sanctions screening models using AI/ML, rules-based, and fuzzy matching techniques
Analyze structured and semi-structured data for sanctions screening accuracy and quality
Apply NLP, fuzzy matching, and similarity scoring methodologies
Collaborate with Compliance, MRM, and Technology teams for validation and audits
Document model logic and performance in an audit-ready manner
Experience with Python libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) and major sanctions platforms
