Business Unit Accountant

Regions is seeking a Business Unit Accountant to provide accounting support to an assigned business unit. This role involves preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports in accordance with company policies and GAAP. You will conduct financial analyses, assist with internal controls, and support external auditors.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts
• Prepare special accounting reports for management
• Conduct financial analyses and audits of business expenses
• Assist in developing and monitoring accounting internal control programs
• Analyze financial information to provide direction and support
• Assist company external and internal auditors
