Data Scientist 4- Interactive Discovery

Netflix is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Messaging Data Science & Engineering team. This role focuses on building data, analytics, and experimentation systems for member messaging, aiming to improve catalog discovery and engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design rigorous tests, apply causal inference, and develop measurement frameworks.

• Design and run rigorous A/B tests for Messaging strategies
• Apply causal inference techniques when clean tests aren't feasible
• Define and evolve Messaging's experimentation standards and measurement framework
• Own code, data pipelines, and dataset enrichment for analyses
• Automate recurring analysis work and build self-serve tools
• Translate ambiguous business asks into data science solutions
