Data Scientist

Caterpillar is seeking a Data Scientist to join their Advanced Diagnostics team within the Analytics & Applied AI department. You will leverage advanced analytical methods, including machine learning and statistical modeling, to solve business challenges and enhance service experiences by analyzing data from equipment fluids, dealers, customers, and equipment. This role involves independent work and collaboration to extract maximum value from digital products and services.

• Act as a technical individual contributor on an analytics team
• Leverage data cleaning, analysis, quantitative methods, and modeling
• Utilize machine learning, statistical modeling, and causal inference
• Experience with Python, SQL, and AWS
• Develop, deploy, and productionize predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions
• Communicate insights to technical leaders, managers, and business partners
