Lead Data Scientist

Sanofi is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive AI and Machine Learning innovation within their Commercial Data Science team. This hybrid role in Toronto will focus on developing and deploying enterprise AI solutions to enhance patient journeys, optimize market access, and improve commercial operations. You will lead end-to-end AI product lifecycles, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior scientists.

• Lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise AI/ML solutions
• Focus on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and personalized patient support
• Own end-to-end AI product lifecycle from framing to monitoring
• Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams
• Communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Mentor junior Data Scientists and AI Engineers
