Sr Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will translate complex business needs into innovative AI/ML solutions, focusing on IoT and sensor data. You will lead the end-to-end development of predictive and optimization models, ensuring their integration into data products and driving measurable business outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior scientists and shape the future of data-driven decision-making at Ecolab.

• Partner with stakeholders to define AI/ML use cases and manage product relationships
• Lead exploratory analysis, feature engineering, and model development for time series and forecasting
• Build and evaluate predictive, optimization, and GenAI solutions using Databricks
• Work with IoT and sensor data, including irregular intervals and missingness
• Define strong baseline approaches and recommend the simplest effective solution
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to team standards
