Senior Applied Measurement & Data Scientist

Join the Applied Measurement & Experimentation team at Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute. You will lead analytic projects, develop measurement tools, and apply data science and AI/ML methods to support critical government and industry decision-making. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, reproducible, and trustworthy analytic solutions.

• Lead analytic projects from scoping to technical outcomes
• Collaborate with domain experts to build tools and integrate AI/ML results
• Apply statistical modeling, ML, and data science to real-world datasets
• Build and maintain analytic software tools and data pipelines
• Ensure reliability, reproducibility, and trustworthiness of analytics
• Explore and apply generative AI and LLM tools
