Senior Data Scientist

Databricks is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Data Team. You will help build a data-driven culture by solving product and business challenges, and act as an internal customer to dogfood Databricks products. This role involves shaping data science areas, collaborating with stakeholders, mentoring junior scientists, and building internal data products.

• Shape direction of key data science areas like usage forecasting and product analytics
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering
• Manage stakeholders, gather requirements, define OKRs, and communicate progress
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists
• Build self-serving internal data products
• Apply Data Science/ML in production to build data-driven products
