Senior Data Scientist

Join the Commodities At Sea (CAS) team as a hands-on Data Scientist to develop production-ready data products for maritime and commodity-flow analytics. You will leverage Python, PySpark, and SQL for large-scale data processing, wrangling, and analytical problem-solving, with a focus on applying generative AI and intelligent workflow automation. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and contributing to cloud and DevOps activities on AWS.

• Design and build scalable data-processing and analytical workflows using Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Collect, clean, and transform large datasets into analysis-ready assets
• Develop and implement AI-assisted workflows for automation using generative AI and ML
• Integrate AI components with data pipelines and business processes with human review
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Terraform) and CI/CD practices
• Understand maritime shipping and commodity flows to translate business questions into analytical approaches
